Today we have a sketch challenge, as always, and a Clean & Simple challenge. To play along with the Clean & Simple challenge make a card or project that is clean & simple, i.e. clean lines, lots of white space, and a clear focal point. Use either or both challenges, it's up to YOU!

  2. Yay! Another challenge! My card this week is going to a friend who lent me some cross stitch patterns. I need to return them and I think I'll tuck in a box of cards as a "thank you"! ~ Tricia

    I love this sketch, BTW!!

  3. The card I have posted is going to my BFF from college, who has been a wonderful friend for over 40 years. Neither of us had a sister until we found each other in a college Spanish class in 1972.

  4. OK, total honesty... I didn't completely read the challenge requirements when I started on my card! So I didn't follow the sketch. And I'm not sure you'd consider my card clean and simple. If I'm overstepping the boundaries, by all means delete me! :)

I don't have a specific need to send this card to anyone, but what I do sometimes when I have a card I don't really "need" at the moment is I post it on my Facebook page and offer it to any friend who could use it to send to someone else. So that's what I'm doing with this card! :)

Thanks for a VERY fun and much needed challenge! I'll be looking forward to the next one!

    1. Tammy you did great! C&S is definitely subjective! What's C&S for you is perfect for the challenge! That's a great idea to use Facebook as a way to find a card recipient! Thanks for sharing that idea!!

  5. Thank you for another fun challenge! Such wonderful inspiration by your DT! I went with the Clean and Simple theme for my card (entry #11). This card is for my parents to thank them for taking me to dinner on Wednesday.

  6. Thanks for this great challenge idea! My card is going to go to a teacher at my youngest child's school. He saw my daughter crying one morning before school and took the time to find out what was wrong and sympathize with her. (Our dog had just been hit and killed the night before, and my daughter was crying on her friend's shoulder.) We are very blessed to live in a school district with lots of caring, dedicated teachers.

  7. I'll be taking this wine tag and nice bottle of wine to a family member's house on Christmas Day. They go all out at Christmas and invite thirty or so family members to get together to celebrate.

  12. Hello there - This is an awesome challenge!!! So glad to finally get a chance to play along!! I made my card for my brother whose birthday was on the 27th - this card features and old red pickup which has so much sentimental tugs for our family!! Our dad, who passed away a year ago, drove around an old truck much like this!!! So this is a very fitting card for the brother I love!!! Already sent it to him!!

  13. Hi, made this card #30 with someone in mine, but unfortunately they don't need it. Then I spoke to my brother today. He has been in a car accident and is OK but very sore. I thought this is perfect so it will be winging it's way to him. Thanks for getting me sharing the joy. Hugz
